Dating spendings: how much are we spending for love during lifetime

According to new research, the average person in the UK spends more than J38,000 trying to find love during their lifetime.
But despite people collectively spending J15.2 billion each year in the pursuit of love, a third of relationships end within 12 months, according to online dating service Parship.co.uk.
When you begin date some you are forced to visit restaurants, bars, call your date and spend money for other activities. During the first six months of a relationship men spend an average of J1,426 on their partner, nearly double the J740 spent by women. In our opinion these numbers are showing that men are more creativeness and usually pay for women bills when they are together.
Men claim to spend an average of J970 on drinks and dinners, J148 on presents and J63 on both taxis and flowers and chocolates. But! But once the relationship has passed the 12-month barrier, men's spending drops off to J987, while women's increases slightly to J784.
What could this mean? Yeah, men are hunters and when they aim their goal they relax and cut down gifts-for-loving-women budget. Women are more cautious on the first relationship stage on their dating spendings. Probable it is psychological factor they just don't trust men who dating them because they can't understand is man seriuos about them or not. When they understand man position in their relationships they don't let off him from their heart and increase dating spendings to keep their love.
Psychiatrist Dr Victoria Lukats said:
"Nowadays the average age at which people settle down and marry is much older than it was 30 years ago, so singles will tend to have more disposable income to spend on going out. The difficulty is that relationships are also now less likely to last than they were 30 years ago, people are much more likely now to get married during the first flushes of love, rather than waiting."
So be prepared to fork out for more than a dinner or plush bear when beginning new dating game.
