CuteOnly implement mobile dating to Russia

TrueDate.com enter internation dating market
Chris van Tuijl, founder of Relatieplanet.nl, the market leading dating site in the Netherlands, today enters the English-speaking market with TrueDate.com. Owner says that simplicity and accessibility of his nederland site version could work on eglish-speaking market.

WTD: Well, one more site is trying to enter overfull market. Let's what will happen but I think this is only an attempt to increase site owner revenue. Sure that his earnings will increase on international market but I don't think that this site may become a leader.

Russian Dating Becomes Mobile
International dating service connecting Western men and Russian women, has launched a completely new solution based on the integration of traditional Internet dating and innovative mobile dating. CuteOnly short message service (CuteSMS) allows customers to send short messages (SMS) to girls' cellphones.Russian girls love SMS chats. They'd rather send and receive dozens of short text messages than make a single call. That's why we've decided to give them an opportunity of chatting with guys using our CuteSMS service. Now you can send a message to a girl and receive her answer in just a few minutes, - says Nikolay Pokrovsky, CuteOnly CEO.

WTD: Nikolay has worked for AnastasiaWeb 2 years ago and now I happy to see him CuteOnly CEO. Idea to involve mobile dating to russian dating service is great because it could really work better on Russian market. SMS-messages are very popular in Russia and instead of boring speaking over the phone or email writing sms messaging could be successfull step by CuteOnly company.

Match.com agrees deal with ITV for live TV ads
Dating website Match.com is to screen what it claims is the first ever live TV ad, to tie in with the start of ITV1's 'Love Island'. Filmed in front of a live audience, the ad will be shown on ITV1 during this year's 'Love Island' on Sunday August 6 and will be the only ad in breaks during that evening's programme. The ad will be the culmination of a summer of marketing activity for Match.com, aimed at finding two Match.com members, one male and one female, to appear in the ad. The two members will get the chance to tell the ITV audience why they should not be single any more.

WTD: Nothing strange... Match.com is the leader of online dating and have money to invest in TV ads even if they would not compensated. Good luck!

Music based social network launches
MOG.com is a social networking site, but its users are represented purely through their musical tastes. The site is currently in beta and has been created by former MTV marketing executive David Hyman along with US$1.4 million in private investment. Advertising and promotions are fairly limited, with links to Apple's iTunes store and Amazon.com being the only noticeable ones. The site also provides 30-second sound clips of all its users' music.

WTD: Social networking boom continues... Wait for a few month and we will see pet lovers, golfers, sport fans social networks... The same story was in online dating.
