According to Parship survey one in three first dates ends in disaster with embarrassing blunders proving to be the passion killers, according to a new survey.

The romantic first date hopes are devastated by different mistakes single do during a date. The most popular mistakes why first date went wrong were alcohol and talking about a former partner, according to the latest research. The survey also showed that 8 million singles in the UK are currently looking for love and they will go on a staggering 18 million first dates this year. It means that average UK single has a bit more than 2 first dates during a one year. At least 6 million of first dates of those will end in disaster, and even fewer will lead to something special.

Because of limited time pressure during speed dating event it is very important to make good first impression.
