Match.com
Plenty Of Fish After 10 years of being 100% free for use dating PlentyOfFish decided to add paid option for its members. This pay option aimed at customers who want to show that they’re serious about meeting someone. PlentyofFish’s approach to a paid option is different from Match and Yahoo Personals, which charge users when they sign up or attempt to contact someone.

According to blog of PlentyofFish CEO, Markus Frind, PlentyofFish will sell “Serious Member” badges that will appear on members’ pages for three, six or 12 months. Paid profiles will be marked in search results, and their messages to prospective partners will be highlighted.

“Paid sites monetize on impulse,” Mr. Frind wrote. “PlentyofFish is going to monetize on user intent. I believe we will have far more members that are serious than paid sites.”

According to our users reviews of PlentyOfFish most of them were not satisfied with quality of dating on this site. According to user reports  singles profiles listed on POF are not interested in seriuos dating, in best way they are interesting in "one night" date and nothing more. For such members addition of such paid option may help a lot but so far it is uknown how much this feature will cost for PlentyOfFish members.
