After millions dollars were spent by True.com when they started they business they still can't get back to the positions they had 4-5 years ago. One week ago True.com announced Cornell McGee as the company's chief marketing officer and executive vice president. In his new position. McGee will direct TRUE's acquisition marketing, business development and sales efforts, continuing its expansion in the interactive space. It was announced that True.com will spend another $75 million dollars to return their positions. 

"TRUE is always looking for viable opportunities to extend its reach in the marketplace and make itself not just an online dating site, but a destination portal for consumers," said McGee.  "This $75 million is just a
jumping off point for TRUE and we'll have the flexibility to increase it when needed as additional program components are implemented over the coming months."

McGee graduated from the University of North Texas in 1993 with a BBA in Marketing.  He went on to earn his MBA in Strategic Management from Texas A&M University, where he graduated as a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor
Society in 1999.
